Show Info

In 2002, Raj began his stand up comedy career on the Dallas scene and soon began performing all over the country. Now a bona fide international headliner, Raj has worked with some of the best comics from around the world.

He is the co-founder of the “Indians at the Improv”, a finalist for “The Lucky 21” on HBO and toured with “The Next Generation of Evil Comedy Tour”. Raj is also an original member of “The Gurus of Comedy”, “Pundits With Punchlines” and “The United Colors of Comedy”.

Raj was the first comic to be passed at The Laugh Factory on a six minute guest spot and has since had his first hour special, “Raj Sharma Live from, Las Vegas”, produced and available on Amazon. That same year, he was THE stand-out performer of the CBS Diversity Sketch Comedy Showcase.

In 2016, Raj co-created “Raj Sharma Presents…”, a series of shows benefiting charities across the U.S and Australia and is the headliner and a curator of the “Weirdass Pajama Festival”, the biggest comedy event in India.

In 2016/2017, Raj was seen internationally on FOX’s “Laughs” and continues to headline tours across the globe. You can see Raj on Amazon Internationals brand New “Jestination Unknown”, as himself. He is currently touring his new stand up comedy special, “Cowboy & Indian”, internationally.

Paul Varghese's act includes a number of observations about being Indian, providing outsider-looking-in and insider-looking-out commentary, while also exploring an array of topics and issues outside that realm. He was named by the Dallas Observer in 2007 as the "Best Stand-up Comic in Dallas" and recently won the 2009 "Funniest Comic in Dallas" competition. Varghese has performed at the HBO Comedy Festival, the Montreal and Toronto's Just For Laughs Festivals and the TBS Comedy Festival. His TV credits include Telemundo 2's "Loco Comedy Jam", NBC's "Last Comic Standing," Comedy Central's "Live At Gotham" and he can be seen this October 17th on Showtime's "Russell Peters Presents".
