Ken Boyd's Bio
To celebrate the new year, Ken's parents had unprotected sex in January of 1985. Nine months later, a star was born (September 15th). In 2008 he began his comedy career in his hometown of Houston, Texas. After experiencing five years of local success and notoriety, Ken decided to take his talents out east to New York City. In 2016 he made his television debut on season one of Comedy Central's "Kevin Hart Presents: Heart of the City." In 2018 he made his network debut on Fox's "Showtime at the Apollo" where he received a standing ovation.
In 2019 he was casted as "Isiah" in the very first season of "Godfather of Harlem" on Epix where he made is acting debut. The year 2020 brought about Ken's second acting credit as "Lucky" in season 3 of "The Last O.G" on TBS. He continued to pad his resume in 2022 by making an appearance on "Flatbush Misdemeanors" on Showtime. Ken Boyd is a natural blend of charm, wit and just the perfect amount of mischief.
Inspire by Fire is A 501C3 nonprofit organization that believes in motivating people to maximize the potential in their lives through counseling, mentoring, physical fitness classes and a host of workshops. We are dedicated to the betterment of society by reaching one individual at a time. We currently serve the Houston area by providing assistance and essential items to the homeless, prison re-entry, financial workshops, youth mentoring, mental health awareness workshops, gun safety, situational awareness and fitness classes to develop ones’ mental, physical and spiritual state. Our desire is that everyone be inspired by the fire that lives within.
We are hosting this event to raise money for our IBF Retreat that will promote mental health facility, cultivate troubled youth, and offer restoration for broken homes and marriages.
